The Innovative Cheesemaking – an Opportunity for the Jakob Award

The Jakob Fair Award, named after the first tourist – the pilgrim Jakob, marked the 10th anniversary of the award at the last fair, thus gaining some novelties. From now on, the International Commission will shortlist the five best, already implemented, projects, the best of which will receive the Jakob Award and the title of Ambassador for Innovation, Quality and Excellence in Tourism for the current field from the call. The theme for 2021 is "Cheesemaking - an Opportunity for the Tourism in the Countryside". The commission headed by prof. dr. Janez Bogataj, who has been joined this year by the president of the Association of the Slovenian Countryside Youth Ms.Anja Mager, is inviting innovative cheesemakers from the Alps-Adriatic region to apply for the call no later than the 13th of January next year.
