More than 350 tourism providers from 13 countries will be present at the fair. In addition to Slovenia, also from Austria, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Germany, France, Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Nepal and Thailand. The Slovenian Tourist Board will feature over 140 local communities and associations. As every year, the fair is traditionally attended by the Ljubljana Tourism, the Alpine Association of Slovenia, the Association of Tourist Guides of Slovenia and many others.

The events in the exhibition halls are accompanied by a varied programme of lectures, presentations and press conferences on current tourism issues. Special emphasis is placed on digitisation and the introduction of new technologies in tourism. Experts will showcase the latest trends and innovations in this rapidly developing field. The Slovenian Tourist Board will also present guidelines for the central communication theme “Art and Culture” for 2024 and 2025.

The Jakob Award

The International Jakob Award will be presented again this year at the opening of the fair. The theme of the 13th edition of the Jakob Award 2024 is “Innovative tourism events based on cultural and natural heritage”.
