Alpe-Adria

Make the journey! The Alpe-Adria, green and active tourism fair is back!

After a two-year break, the fair for all who want to spend their free time actively, is returning to the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. The 32nd Alpe-Adria Fair for Green and Active Tourism will be organized by the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre from the 23rd to the 26th of March 2022. It will be joined by the 15th International Professional GASTexpo & Ice Cream Tastes Fairs organized by the Primorski Sejem.

At the main tourist event of the Alpe Adria region, visitors can get a lot of new ideas for an active holiday in nature and establish personal contact with tourism service providers, thus experiencing the destination or service more personally.

This year, more than 130 tourism service providers from Slovenia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Italy, and Nepal, as well as more than 150 members of the Slovenian Tourist Board will present themselves. Visitors can expect a wide range of Croatian tourist providers, as over 30 of them will present themselves.

Due to the opportunities offered by the product of active holidays and sporting achievements of Slovenia, the outdoor tourism will be one of the main content highlights, as well as the importance of sustainable tourism, in which we are guided by environmental and health circumstances.

The Jakob Award for quality and excellence in the Alpe Adria region will be presented at the fair for the 11th time. This time, Jakob has been awarded to the project Cycling for People with Reduced Mobility ARS VIVA, the Institute for Cultural Integration and Socialization of Social Groups, on the topic of Innovative Cycling Experiences. They have applied with the project that offers rental of adapted bicycles, thus enabling the improvement of the quality of life of vulnerable groups and active involvement in society.

The events in the exhibition halls also include a rich accompanying program with lectures, presentations, round tables, and press conferences.
