Alpe-Adria

This year, Croatia proudly takes the spotlight as the official partner country of the Alpe-Adria fair. Partnering with one of Europe’s leading tourism destinations brings an important added dimension to international cooperation, knowledge exchange and the presentation of diverse experiences from the Adriatic region.

As the fair’s partner country, Croatia strengthens Alpe-Adria’s role as a regional hub connecting destinations, providers, local stories, outdoor inspiration and development ideas. Visitors will gain enriched insight into new products, emerging trends and countless opportunities for active leisure, culture and gastronomy.

The Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB): the institution connecting Adriatic stories

The Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) is the national organisation responsible for promoting Croatia as a world-class tourist destination. Its mission is to develop and enhance the identity and reputation of Croatian tourism while guiding the country’s positioning in international markets. Strategic planning, branding and high-quality promotional activities are at the heart of its work, highlighting the diversity, authenticity and sustainable vision of Croatian tourism.

At the Alpe-Adria fair, visitors will be able to explore Croatia’s remarkably varied tourism offer under the umbrella of the CNTB – from coastal destinations, culinary experiences and cultural heritage to outdoor activities, island specialties, nature parks and unique experiences that celebrate the spirit of the Adriatic.

The Unforgettable Beauty of Croatia

Croatia’s natural charm lies in its extraordinary diversity. From the golden plains of Slavonia and the rolling hills of central Croatia to dramatic mountain ranges and the Adriatic coast with its crystal-clear waters – every region tells its own story. Croatia boasts endless natural wonders, more than 1,400 islands, 12 nature parks and eight national parks. The Adriatic coast is one of the sunniest in Europe, with the island of Hvar receiving over 2,800 hours of sunshine annually.

This natural richness is complemented by ten UNESCO World Heritage Sites and eighteen elements of intangible cultural heritage – from the historic centres of Dubrovnik and Split to traditional klapa singing, lace-making and Mediterranean cuisine. Together, they create a destination of unforgettable experiences where culture and nature intertwine in a distinctive source of travel inspiration.
