Camping and Caravanning - even bigger

The Steklena hall (C) and the additional hall

On 2,500 square metres of exhibition space, you can also see motorhomes and caravans this year, as well as remanufactured vans of established brands and accessories for them. The fair will also include the Network of Motorhome Stopovers in Slovenia (MPZA), the Caravanning Club of Slovenia (CCS) and the main specialized medium in the field of camping and caravanning, the Avto-Dom magazine.

Motorhomes, like at the last fair, will be able to park on the outdoor space. This year's novelty is, that at the fair, there  will also be organized the purchase and sale of used motorhomes for visitors. The sales will also be assisted by the experienced Avto-Dom magazine partners. The space for sale will be on the outer platform of the fair, where electricity plugs will also be available.

A Round-table on the Development of Motorhome Tourism Slovenia - A Motorhomes Owners Friendly Country
Wednesday, the 29th of January 2020, at 11am, The Urška Hall

Due to the specific needs of motorhomes owners, which are much more mobile than classic caravanning tourists with caravans, in the countries where motorhome tourism is the most developed, special parking lots have been made, and then more and more motorhome stops.

At the initiative of the Motorhome Stopovers Network in Slovenia, we also started adapting to the modern trends of European motorhome tourism several years ago. Thus, other Slovenian municipalities began to join the Motorhome Stopovers Network, initiated by the Mirna Mayor Mr. Dušan Skerbiš. Currently, in 88 municipalities there are 165 stops, resting places and parking lots for motorhomes. We are inviting you to the round-table on further guidelines for the comprehensive development of motorhome tourism in Slovenia, with an emphasis on expanding the network of motorhome stopovers. All the mayors of Slovenian municipalities are invited to the consultation, as it is precisely the local communities that can contribute most to the accelerated development of this very important and promising segment of a comprehensive tourist offer for Slovenia.
